~Hard Work Pays Off~

This morning members of the Mattydale Fire Department anlong with the Mattydale Junior Fire Department and Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department went to the Clay Fire Department to participate in live fire scenarios. At the Mattydale Fire Department is it a requirement to participate in at least one of these scenarios a year to keep or obtain their “interior firefighter” status. ... (Full Story & Photos)

This morning Mattydale firefighters, Mattydale EMS members, Mattydale Junior Fire Department members and Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department members joined together and conducted a live fire drill, focusing on fire suppression along with search and rescue while in compliance of NFPA 1403 which is the standard set for safety conducting live fires.

Tonight members took a ride to Clay Fire Department training area to practice car fires. All members were able to do multiple evolutions, everyone did a great job.
